PUMA is an iconic fashion brand and Dapper Dan is a Harlem fashion icon and designer, so it makes sense for the two to link up for a collaboration right? Makes perfect sense actually. Celebrating the theme “origins and fusion,” PUMA’s latest partnership is one that represents New York culture. That’s right, the first drop of the PUMA x DAPPER DAN collection will be released today exclusively available on Kith.com and in Kith stores across the US, Paris and Tokyo. The collection was previously seen on the runway during PUMA’s NYFW FUTROGRADE show in September.

PUMA and Dapper Dan Celebrate Harlem Streetwear with Kith
This epic collaboration is a tribute to the Hip Hop culture that was democratized by Dapper Dan in the 1980’s, which was also the same time period in which PUMA also established itself as a staple for the streetwear community. This collection is a four-piece capsule that includes a full range of elevated classics, including the couturier take classics like the T7 tracksuit, PUMA Clyde sneaker and embellished tees. There’s also a special monogram that was created by Dap to add a bespoke PUMA touch. When speaking to the collection.
Dap had this say to say about the launch:
“The spiritual magic embodied by the puma as an animal is coming to life in the collaboration between Dapper Dan and the PUMA brand.”
PUMA x DAPPER DAN will also celebrate 40 years of PUMA Clyde (the official shoe of Clyde Drexler), offering a bold take on the iconic sneaker with refined details, like premium leather and jacquard, a molded metal plaque on the heel tab with an embossed co-branded logo, and a leather formstripe embellished with crystal finishings.
PUMA x DAPPER DAN’s first drop will be exclusively available at KITH stores and www.kith.com on October 28, 2022 for a retail price ranging between $70 and $300. This will include an all-over monogrammed tracksuit embellished with rhinestones, a new graphic Clyde sneaker and a velour tee shirt.
Oh, and be on the lookout for drop number two, which is coming later in the year.
