12 Days of Christmas Spotlight: Outlier and Their Trippy Approach to Design

With a desire to “build clothes for the future,” Outlier was founded in 2008 by Abe Burmeister and Tyler Clemens, with the design direction being done by Willie Norris. Aimed at making material for the city, Outlier focuses mostly on clothes, but also experiments with bags, accessories, and anything else that might come across their direction at any specific moment.

For starters, we love Outlier because of their attention to detail, which results in crafty pieces. We also love how they have been able to evolve over the nearly fifteen years they have been around without wandering away from their brand identity. Their philosophy of clothes never being restricted is one that we also rock with, and we love how their individual pieces make you feel liberated.

The Merino Robe was sick as it’s one of those versatile pieces that can be paired with just about anything.

We’re also feeling this top coat in orange sun for the super cold months of January and February.

We also loved all of the concepts and fits from the brand’s Ideas 4 presentation.

We were really digging the Action Flannel Prototype which dropped in September. Hopefully we can see this in stores soon!
