MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon, Reebok 'Above the Rim' and More Drops to Watch This Week

MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon have revealed the second phase in a new chapter of their relationship, which is a celebration of a shared ethos of innovative, transitional design. Making up this collaboration is the launch of six new products, which includes the Cross Mid trainer and the XT 15 backpack. The MM6 Maison Margiela x SALOMON Cross Mid shoes and XT 15 backpack will be available at MM6 Maison Margiela e-commerce sites and boutiques, as well as in selected multi-brand stores.

Coming up soon is Reebok's celebratory “Above the Rim” footwear and apparel capsule paying homage to the brand’s iconic basketball product line known for its many memorable appearances on the big-screen and influence within basketball culture. Launched in 1993 and appearing in iconic sports films like Above the Rim and Blue Chips, while on the feet of players around the world throughout the ‘90s, Reebok’s “Pump Vert” sneaker was the center piece of its historic ”Above the Rim” product range. For FW23, alongside a matching retro apparel capsule, Reebok revives the ATR Pump Vert sneaker for the very first time, featuring the same black/white build and distinctive custom-fit Pump technology.

The capsule will be available on the 27th.

Saucony Originals introduces the latest iteration of the ProGrid Omni 9 series, the Crystal Cave, which features well-renowned GRID technology from the most beloved, retro-tech silhouettes, elevated for another Saucony x Saucony collaboration. As the brand continues to celebrate their 125-year history, each Saucony x Saucony release takes inspiration from areas within Saucony’s origins in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. Each Saucony x Saucony collaboration is a limited- edition series, that comes with a custom box and dedicated sock liners to further enhance its collectible nature.

The shoes are available exclusively at Sneaker Politics on October 14, and via saucony.com worldwide on October 20.

The Bodega x Todd Snyder 'City Limits' Collection is available at the end of the week. Blending together functional and technical, this capsule is a West Coast take on New England-inspired heritage hunting gear meets workwear, and how that style has evolved over the decades. The new collection will be available online (bdgastore.com) at 12pm EST starting October 20th as well as their in-store Boston location on a first-come first-serve basis.

Noah's second collaboration with Lavenham is an exploration of outerwear. Including pieces that draw inspiration from iconic staples such as the fishtail parka, field jackets, military-inspired jackets, hard-wearing clothes, and the infamous "buffalo plaid design," industrialized jackets with a modern appeal are at the forefront of this collection, which is currently available to shop. The PUMA x STAPLE East West Ivy collection continues to explore Asian American culture through the lens of 1960s collegiate style trends. During this era, many fashion trends were inspired by the preppy collegiate style of  coastal universities – including the early generations of Asian American student communities. Gotham,  NYC’s first luxury cannabis and lifestyle concept store has dropped a limited-edition capsule collection in partnership with anOnlyChild designer Maxwell Osborne and Fun City Tattoo owner and artist Big Steve. The limited-edition collection takes inspiration from the fashion of the early aughts with tattoo artistry, urban street style and high fashion, and consists of three limited-edition unisex pieces including amesh snapback hat, a t-shirt, and hoodie. Each piece is made of high-quality cotton with the logo embossed using 3M off white ink on black.  

The unique graphic found on each piece was designed by Fun City’s Big Steve, who transformed the Gotham logo giving it an edgy, streetwear aesthetic alongside anOnlyChild’s Maxwell Osborne, known for his cutting-edge designs. The anOnlyChild X Gotham X Fun City Tattoo capsule collection retails for $50 - $200 and will be available exclusively in-store at Gotham on October 13th until supplies last.

Patina Maldives, Fari Islands has unveiled its much-anticipated debut clothing collaboration, Patina x Stampd - an exclusive limited-edition capsule collection created by LA-based menswear label founder, Chris Stamp.
