Air Jordan Cement 3, adidas Y-3, HOKA x Bodega and More Drops to Watch This Week

The Air Jordan 3 "White Cement Reimagined 2023" is now available at Stadium Goods. Created in celebration of the iconic Jordan 3’s 35th anniversary, the Air Jordan 3 "White Cement Reimagined 2023" is faithful to the 1988 version of the Jordan 3, paying homage to the “White Cement” colorway. The new “Reimagined” version features a higher-cut ankle collar inspired by the OG Jordan 3’s design and is equipped with a white leather upper featuring contrasting grey elephant print on the toe and heel, which has been modified to look like the detailing on the original Jordan 3. 

Earlier this year adidas and Yohji Yamamoto introduced the world to the brand’s new pinnacle expression: Y-3 Atelier. Spotlighting an approach to production driven by craftsmanship, skill, and undeterred dedication, this season, the brand with the Three Stripes and the renegade Japanese designer present the first footwear offering from their experimental new line: theY-3 ITOGO.

For their reunion with HOKA, Bodega looked to hiking culture to concoct a unique take on a beloved silhouette from the footwear brand. To produce the collab, the Bodega team traveled to Annecy, France for an official HOKA research and development trip to test out the Tor model.

The practice culminated in two gorgeous pairs of kicks, the Hi model in a beautiful "Southwestern" colorway and the Lo in a colorway that accentuates the high-quality leather construction. The shoes will be available for release online on March 23rd via bdgastore.com at 12pm EST and in-store at their Los Angeles location at 11am PST on a first come, first served basis.

PUMA has teamed up with streetwear brand and longtime collaborator STAPLE, to introduce a collection of footwear and apparel inspired by Gidra, an Asian American student-run newspaper created in response to anti-Asian sentiment in 1969. The first delivery of the PUMA x STAPLE “Gidra” collection releases and includes two Slipstream silhouettes and a dragon T-shirt inspired by King Ghidorah. One of the colorways features yellow tones to symbolize King Ghidorah and the second pair will be rendered in black. This color pairing nods to the shared influence of two prominent anti-discrimination movements, Yellow Peril and the Black Panther Party.

Drop one of the PUMA x STAPLE “Gidra” collection retails for $140 and is available on PUMA.com, the PUMA NYC flagship store, and select PUMA stockists, as well as on staplepigeon.com. Keep a lookout for part two of the “Gidra” collection later in March.

Macy's is set to expand their partnership with Reebok. The collection will include sportswear and activewear for men and women that span across sporty, lifestyle and other training categories. In addition to the expanded collection, Reebok will also develop products and a capsule collection exclusively for Macy’s.

The Reebok collection features fashion-forward pieces from matching sets to laid-back loungewear. The assortment focuses on minimalism and comfort, while also prioritizing performance sports and materials with a stylish edge.  Reebok’s exclusive designs for Macy’s will lean into Macy’s fashion moment “Dark Mode,” and include Shine and Lux sports bras and leggings for women, as well as classic men’s tracksuits for the fitness enthusiast or street style maven.

The Zahba is inspired by Zion’s effortless all-terrain (street, vert, or park) skate abilities and as such is built with ImpactWaffle™ technology, providing the ideal combination of impact protection and boardfeel, and also follows strict material guidelines with regenerative, responsibly sourced renewable, and recycled materials making up at least 30% of the product.

When designing his Zhaba, Zion looked to his hometown Jupiter, Florida, and blended space themes with beachy earth tones: evident in the  space-dust speckle treatment and an embroidered planet Jupiter. The shoe will be available globally on March 16, 2023, at select Vans retail locations and Vans.com/Zahba.

Carhartt WIP has just unveiled its latest S23 campaign: Trail. Shot around the volcanic expanses of Mount Etna, Sicily, by photographer Gianluca Normanno and videographer Francesco Bartoli Avveduti, Trail offers a selection of outdoor-leaning items that are in tune with nature. The selection’s hazy palette — which includes shades of violet, storm blue, and stone — is informed by the unique hues of lumen flower prints. There is also a focus on loose-fitting, functional silhouettes, best illustrated by this season’s Wynton Jacket and Parka, which are constructed in a midweight cotton ripstop with pop-color reverse sides.

Meanwhile, garments such as the Idaho Jacket and Pant, featuring multiple 3D pockets and reflective detailing, nod to the selection’s utilitarian influences.
