The U.S. Men's National Team has found many diamonds in the rough over the years when it comes to dual national talents and one of the more exciting names to come up recently is Yunus Musah.

Despite being eligible for four national teams, England, Italy, Ghana and the United States, the young Valencia midfielder committed to the U.S. back in November 2020 when he accepted a call up from manager Gregg Berhalter, and now his trajectory with the Americans is soaring.

The 19 year old spent time at Arsenal's youth academy before eventually moving to Spain, and that's why his decision to represent the U.S. made huge waves.

Musah has quickly found himself in a midfield trio with Weston McKennie and Tyler Adams, and those three players will seemingly prove vital for the U.S. in the future.

What makes Musah's growth so important though is American football is at a time where so many young national team players are emerging ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Key players outside of Musah, including Sergino Dest, Christian Pulisic, Brenden Aaronson, Tim Weah and Miles Robinson are all under the age of 25.

That creates a significant opportunity for Musah and other USMNT players to build towards massive success when the next World Cup cycle begins ahead of 2026.

Musah's versatility as a two-way player makes him very exciting for U.S. Soccer, particularly because of his strong on-ball skills and ability to take on defenders and distribute the ball down the wings.
