Coronavirus notwithstanding, the NBA has a bright future. A big reason for optimism is the recent rookie class of 2019 that has made an impact in a small amount of time in the association. Just this season, number one overall pick Zion Williamson came back from injury and wowed the league for a couple of months. Second overall pick Ja Morant has the Memphis Grizzlies in the playoff race. There has been a multitude of other bright stories including the surprising play of unheralded prospects like Eric Paschall, Terence Davis, and Brandon Clarke.
