For just the sixth time in Premier League history, a goalie accomplished this feat though when Liverpool’s Allisson rescued a late winner off his head against West Bromwich Albion.
The Reds were in desperate need of a win as they try to claim a UEFA Champions League spot with just two matches remaining in the Premier League season.
While some of the previous five goalkeeper finishes have been more impressive (you’ll see what I mean), we can’t take anything away from Alisson’s achievement, which is beyond rare to see not just in England but any league worldwide.
