Here is What the adidas NBA All Star Experience Looked Like

Thursday is the day that most people arrive for the start of the weekend, as is the case with us. The adidas team hosted us for four days at the beautiful Black Rock Mountain Resort, which provides a great view of all the wonderful mountains in Salt Lake, while also being close to Park City, the place where pretty much all the skiing happens. We also got hooked up with some really cool adidas gear to rock for the weekend which was an added bonus. Later that evening, we attended the adidas Basketball All-Star Weekend Arrival Mixer, which was nothing but great vibes, drinks, and food to get you ready for the weekend ahead.

The big event for Friday was the Remember The Why adidas exhibition that evening which saw some very special guests pull up. We’re going to have an in-depth piece on Remember The Why in the next couple of days, but in short, the Remember The Why 2023 Collection is all about cutting through the noise and going back to the basics by remembering what inspires your journey. Remember The Why is a way to reset, find a little bit of silence, and focus on what matters the most.

Getting back to the event, adidas Basketball kicked off All Star Weekend with an immersive exhibition at Venue 6SIX9 celebrating the future of the brand and release of the latest Chapter 02 collection. Centered around Remember The Why, the evening displayed the brand’s vision focused on reigniting the passion for the game and the future of basketball through bold simplicity and intentional design.

Saturday was an equally fun and busy day as we attended the NBA HBCU Classic early afternoon. Then after the game was over, we got the opportunity to interview WNBA superstars Chiney Ogwumike and Kahleah Copper (which you guys will get the chance to see in just a few short days) which was very exciting, and from there, we hopped over to the Vivint Arena for the State Farm All Star Saturday Night, where we got the privilege of watching an adidas athlete by the name of Damian Lillard win the 3-Point Contest for the first time.
