If you’re thankful for television as much as I am, then it’s that time of the year to feast your eyes on these classic Thanksgiving-themed TV episodes all over again (or shockingly for the first time). And while you may have the craving to dust off your DVD box sets, I suggest you keep those in storage because you can conveniently consume all five of these episodes on Netflix, Disney+, Hulu or Amazon Prime Video. These are the best servings from those streaming services, according to me, a lover of TV, turkey and time on the couch. Happy Thanksgiving, ONE37pm readers!

5 Best Thanksgiving TV Episodes to Stream on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and Hulu
Turkey and television lovers, fire up your streaming accounts
1. ‘How I Met Your Mother’ // “Slapsgiving”
Stream on Hulu: [*cue piano*] “What is this feeling that's put you in your place, a hot red burning on the side of your face?” sings Marshall, eerily sounding like Elton John on the keys, after slapping Barney in Season 3’s “Slapsgiving” (Episode 9) from 2007. The episode gave us this epic third slap in their ongoing slap bet and this unforgettable post-slap tune that even an ego-bruised Barney helped sing in perfect harmony.
2. ‘Friends’ // “The One with All the Thanksgivings”
Stream on Netflix: The gang gathers to tell the stories of their very worst Thanksgivings in Season 5’s “The One with All the Thanksgivings” (Episode 8) from 1998. “Everyone’s here: Ross, Rachel and the boy who hates Thanksgiving (Chandler),” quips Monica’s mom in one flashback before a revenge-seeking Monica accidentally chops off Chandler’s toe in an effort to humiliate him because he once called her “fat.” Fast-forward to the future where Chandler unwittingly blurts, “I love you” to Monica while she’s wearing a turkey on her head. Don’t ask. Just watch.
3. ‘The Simpsons’ // “Bart vs. Thanksgiving”
Stream on Disney+: Even 28 years later, the dramatic zoom into Bart’s sad eyes, after mother Marge aggressively told him he had ruined Thanksgiving, is still ingrained in my mind. Season 2’s “Bart vs. Thanksgiving” (Episode 7) from 1990 shows Bart running away from home, spending time in a soup kitchen, realizing he misses his family while there and then returning home to apologize to Lisa for burning her Thanksgiving centerpiece in the fireplace.
4. ‘Fresh Off The Boat’ // “Huangsgiving”
Stream on Hulu: Constance Wu is definitely on my shortlist of stars I want to invite to dinner. If you loved her in the box office hits Crazy Rich Asians or Hustlers you’ll obsess over her in every season of Fresh Off the Boat, especially Season 2’s “Huangsgiving” (Episode 8) from four years ago in which her character Jessica Huang frantically tries to pull off cooking a last-minute Thanksgiving meal with little to no help from her hungover husband.
5. ‘A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving’
Stream on Amazon Prime Video: Well, obviously. We started this list with Marshall on the piano in How I Met Your Mother, and we’re ending it with Schroeder on toy piano in the 1973 classic TV movie A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Good grief, just watch it.
