Whether you’re running a company, working three jobs or in the early stages of launching a brand, being an entrepreneur is time-consuming. Meetings, traveling and business calls don’t allow much time for a social and personal life, and it’s easy to lose track of things. The key to being a successful entrepreneur is staying organized but we know that can be difficult when you’re busy. So we’ve put together a list of eight apps that can help any restless business mogul stay afloat.

Citymapper

Google Play

While Google Maps holds a steady reputation, Citymapper offers real-time updates about delays in 40 cities across the world. The app is perfect for anyone navigating public transit in a new city. Users are provided with the most efficient route, the cost and the ETA. The app is perfect for anyone enduring constant travel and unfamiliar with the different transit systems in major cities.

Citymapper is available for free in the App Store and Google Play.

Pocket

Pocket

Pocket lets you “pocket” articles and videos from any publisher or app to read at another time. As you go through your day, you might come across articles and videos that you don’t have time to view right then but want to feed your brain with later. By adding them into Pocket, you’re essentially curating your own reading, watching and listening list. Articles can even be turned into a listening experience, which is perfect if you need to be hands-free while multitasking.

Pocket is available for free in the App Store and Google Play.

Mint

Google Play

Mint is a money management and financial tracker app for entrepreneurs who value saving and budgeting. The app puts your bank accounts, credit cards, bills and investments together in one place, giving users a visual layout of their financial standing. Even your free credit score and net worth can be tracked in the app.

Mint is available for free in the App Store and Google Play.

TripIt

TripIt is for travelers who struggle to keep up with their transportation details. The app tracks flights, hotel reservations, car rentals, directions and more. Users can send their travel details to plans@tripit.com and the system will immediately store the information in the app. Think Apple Wallet, but more efficient. The stored information is also available offline, so you’ll have access to your trip details in the air, underground and without cellular data for international trips.

TripIt is available for free in the App Store and Google Play.

There’s nothing like receiving a form, having to print it and needing a scanner just to send it back. For anyone on the go, Scanner App lets users take a photo of a document and then converts it into a PDF or JPEG file. You can email the new file directly from the app.

Scanner App is free to download in the App Store but also offers in-app purchases. For Google Play users, CamScanner is a similar and free app to download.

1Password

Gone are the days of jotting down your passwords on sticky notes or storing them in your memory. Since it’s not recommended to have one password for all your accounts, keeping a plethora of codes can get tricky. 1Password stores credit card details, license information, account details and entries you make on a webpage form. The app requires users to enter a password to access the stored sensitive information, keeping it safe if a phone is ever lost or stolen.

1Password is available for free with in-app purchases, in the App Store and Google Play.

The app is compatible with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn and provides users with an easy-to-read analytics report for every post.
