This year is already off to a hot start, from premier talents and up-and-comers alike. We've been staying in tune to both types of artists, and we've got plenty to share from the month of January. Without further ado, let's get to it - here's our music roundup for January.

Monthly Music Roundup: January 2023
tana - "hope you feel the same"
One of our favorite up-and-comers at the moment goes by the name of tana, and he's signed to Lil Tecca's label, Galactic. He had a major year in 2022, collaborating with top-tier talent and performing around the world at major shows. To kick off the year in style, he dropped off a banger called "hope you feel the same." Whether or not you've heard of tana before, chances are you're gonna love this drop.
27 Delly - 'Wake Up'
27Delly also started off 2023 in top form, unveiling yet another exciting EP called 'Wake Up.' The 6-song project is arguably his best yet, and is a great sign of growth for the young talented rapper. A couple standouts from the project include "Gimme That" and "Lambo on Fire (feat. TRAVI)." Take a listen to one of New York's most exciting artists on the rise, 27Delly, and thank us later.
Pardyalone - "Read Your Mind"
Hailing from Minnesota, Pardyalone is far from your average talent, and he made it apparent once again with his latest drop, "Read Your Mind." Not only is the song a vibe, but the video that he matched it with is equally serene. He's built up a good bit of momentum, and we're hoping he'll continue this trend throughout the year in 2023.
Ice Spice - 'Like..?'
Ice Spice is no stranger to our site, and ever since her debut single, she's been going up. We mean UP up. While many artists may struggle with following up a strong debut, this Bronx native made it look easy with her debut EP, 'Like..?'. With this EP, Ice Spice dropped hit after hit, and effortlessly showed that she's gonna be around for a while.
Soundboy Kwad and Bizzy Banks - "Rich Ooter"
Soundboy Kwad celebrated his birthday this year by dropping an absolute banger with Bizzy Banks. Shot at Astor Club in New York City, this video shows the best of Bizzy and Kwad's ability. The Jamaican-born DMV talent has a unique sound, and we're hoping to hear more of it throughout this year. Kwad and Bizzy go way back, and the chemistry on display makes it obvious.
Midwxst and Denzel Curry - "Tally"
We've made sure to mention Midwxst in 2022, as he was putting in work throughout the year. To kick off this year, he dropped a super interesting visual with Denzel Curry, called "Tally." It matches the modern sonic vibe with an old school visual, and it is without a doubt one of the most memorable videos we've seen so far this year. Tune in next month for round two of our music roundup.
