Inside The Screen With Krystalogy

On this edition of Inside The Screen, Aaron ‘Don’ Dukes caught up with the gifted Krystalogy. Known for her presence on Twitch and YouTube, as well as her creative cosplaying, Krystalogy (who also goes by Krysta) has been working hard to achieve her goal of creating content full-time. As a young woman navigating the world of esports, Krysta has had to overcome obstacles while also breaking barriers. The key, however, has been her tenacious attitude combined with a will to succeed.

2020 has had its fair share of challenges for everybody, but it has also provided an opportunity for growth in certain areas of our lives. For Krysta, 2020 has resulted in the natural progression of her gaming career. “Honestly Among Us was definitely the main contributor for me in terms of helping me grow,” she tells Don. Normally a game like Among Us would have been stuck on a ‘to-do’ list for Krysta, but with everyone in quarantine, she realized that it was time to ‘step up to the plate.’

Never one to put herself in a box, Krysta is also a successful cosplayer. This past Halloween saw the streamer portraying the likes of Batgirl, Daphne from Scooby-Doo, and more. “I just have fun with it. Personally, I always want to see myself as all these cool characters by dressing up and taking pictures.” 

In addition to gaming and esports, Aaron and Krysta dove deeper into the conversation of women in gaming while also discussing fun topics such as Zodiac signs.
